in interesting recent news:

1. an interview at starpulse with mike patton, chock full of info including a possible lovage follow up in 2009. sounds like patton and dan the automator just need to coordinate schedules next yr.

2. and at artisan news service, word that a faith no more reunion is not entirely out of the question.

at any rate, the supposed summer ‘08 release of mondo cane should be worth the wait. (summer o8….early 09…whatever)

here’s to hoping for some live lovage appearances in ‘09. dudes like the american answer to damon albarn.

random thought–a mike patton/luke vibert collaboration would be most interesting.  to my knowledge they’ve never worked together.  could produce something most pleasing to the ear.
